LALIZAS proudly announces its support of ‘’The Atlantic Dutchesses’’ team at the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, the most challenging rowing race in the world!
In December 2020, four Dutch women, Iris Noordzij, Melissa Vooren, Renate de Backere and Melanie Breij, will be embarking on this major feat of rowing for 5000 km from the Canary Island La Gomera, to the Caribbean Island Antigua, on a 9-meter boat.
“By women, for women”, these four ladies will try to raise awareness on heart issues that women face and as a charity, they have chosen to raise money to support scientific research that focuses on heart disease in women.
LALIZAS could not but support ‘’The Atlantic Dutchesses’’ team at this challenging rowing race which will last about 40-60 days at sea!
We will provide our premium lifesaving equipment in order to ensure the safety of the team.
Among other appliances, LALIZAS lifejackets will be provided to the team in order to be safe and also comfortable while rowing in the unpredictable Atlantic Ocean.
